Casita Miro is one of the smallest family owned vineyards in New Zealand where vines are hand nurtured and grapes are hand picked.
A tasteful venue filled with love and care.
Dishes arrive at our table. From falafel with pickled cucumber, carrot and hummus to Hauraki Snapper Croquetas. Plates of pure happiness. I wait, sip some of their beautiful red wine and continue ordering.
No better place than New Zealand for trying lamb, so I order Leeland’s high country lamb shoulder, on a bed of Israeli couscous with pistachio, apricot and preserved lemon yoghurt. While I take the first bite, I look outside the window and oversee the vineyards.
It’s that perfect combination. Delicious food, remarkable wine and a lovely ambiance.
This hidden treasure has it all.
